Towards the end of July, Big Ass Fans headed down to Sydney to exhibit for another year at CeMAT Australia.
CeMAT Australia is one of Australia ‘s leading trade shows for warehousing, supply chain management, robotics and automation, and materials handling. With over 2000 attendees and over 70 exhibitors, the trade show proved a great opportunity to witness first-hand, the future of logistics and warehousing in the Asia Pacific. With automation expected to have a 19% growth rate between 2024-2027 and sustainability being an ever popular topic,, there was no surprise about the amount of automation and sustainability based solutions coming from the exhibitors.
CEMAT TRADESHOW 2023
As many businesses would agree, there has never been a bigger push for sustainable business practices. As a company, we wanted to showcase how our business works to provide a sustainable cooling solution for the warehousing and logistics industry. We are well aware of the concern around climate change and the purchase intentions around customers that are looking for businesses that address this problem. We wanted to showcase our solution to the extreme heat felt by workers in the warehousing industry - HVLS fans. Our HVLS fans can circulate large volumes of air, using less energy and running almost silently. Running at its max speed, they can give a perceived cooling effect of up to 6 degrees.
NETWORKING WITH BIG ASS FANS
Whilst the entire trade show was fan-tastic, our favourite part is ALWAYS the networking drinks. As the official sponsors of this year's networking drinks, we had a blast getting to know all the exhibitors and attendees, over delicious canapes and drinks. Of course! We brought our famous Big Ass Beer and Big Ass Honey, which were the highlight of the night. At Big Ass Fans, we believe in supporting our local community, which is why we have partnered with ‘Future Magic Brewing Co.’ to source our beer, and ‘Bee one Third’ to sustainably source our honey.
FINAL THOUGHTS
CeMat Australia 2023 gave some great insight into the future of warehousing and logistics.
